Product Description & Features:
• Backplate for 8900 Series surface closers
• For mounting top jamb when frame face is less than 2-7/8″ (73 mm).
• Two sets of mounting holes accommodate 1-3/4″ (44 mm) or 3-1/4″ (83 mm) minimum ceiling clearance.*
• Top set of holes create top jamb drop application to clear a surface applied stop/holder.
• Can also be used for regular mount closer to clear mortised stop/holder.
